Monitoring

Exports straight into Prometheus and Grafana

The PON Stick doesn't keep its telemetry to itself. Optical levels, PON state and link health can be scraped by Prometheus and rendered in Grafana alongside everything else you already watch — no separate portal, no vendor dashboard you have to remember to check.

That turns a fibre link from something you notice is broken into something you can trend, alert on, and put in front of your ISP with a timestamp attached.

It's an ONT built into an SFP module. Instead of a separate powered box from your ISP, the fibre terminates in a module seated in your own router — so the router itself becomes the point where your service arrives.

It supports the major Malaysian operators — TM Unifi, Maxis, TIME and PERFECT. Provisioning details vary by operator and plan, so send us your service details and we'll confirm before you buy.

You need a router with a suitable SFP cage and firmware that works with an SFP ONT. It runs well across a wide range of MikroTik models — our recommendation is the RB5009, which is the most cost-effective of the reliable, high-performance options. The fibre, splitter and OLT stay with the ISP, so their technician handles line-side faults exactly as before. When they're done you re-plug the fibre into your router and you're back — no waiting for equipment to be re-installed.
